Down to earth

Down to earth,
to ageing,
Drink of the Well
of gratitude.

In fairness and in dirt

In fairness and in dirt

Ageing can be glamorous

Walk tall, walk well.

Ageing walks alone

Ageing walks alone
unafraid, confident
when fear is not in death.

Let go, let off

Let go, let off
let out, let in too,
Let life swing.

New day

New day

Embrace of colours,

breath, energy,

Age renews.

I have, you have

I have, you have
Through the ages,
Together, apart,
Not mere memories.

With glee, perhaps
With bitterness, too
Certainly no mere memories.

Points of balance

Points of balance
Trials of age
Seeking evenness.
