A fruit

A fruit,
An offering,
A prayer of thanksgiving,
truly.

I'm not alone

I'm not alone,
In age
I am me
I am mine.

What's carved in the heart

What's carved in the heart -
Memory,
to laugh and sing,
in age.

Let the heart leap

When the heart leaps
in colours,
When the heart breaks
into song,
The cells rock in laughter.

Seeking refuge

Seeking refuge,
A journey in age
for regeneration.

"The Road goes ever on ...."

The Road goes ever on and on,

Down from the door where it began,

Now far ahead the Road has gone,

And I must follow if I can.

Pursuing it with eager feet,

Until it joins some larger way,

Where many paths and errands meet,

And wither then?  I cannot say.

Tradition

Tradition

Ancient wisdom

binding heart and mind,

anchor the ages.

Do not create

Do not create

Do not be led in,

The mind and

body in captivity.

The unexpected

The unexpected

Do not shun

The unexpected

could be splendour.

Dreams

Dreams

Always have dreams,

Age slows us not.

The landscape

The landscape

of age,

of colours

that enrich memories.
